About the Role

To assist with meeting the growing demand for our services, Centacare South West NSW is seeking a passionate and experienced Clinical Practice Manager to lead our Albury office and contribute to the strategic development and delivery of services across the region.

Are you a passionate Clinical Practice Manager who loves supporting the growth and professional development of social workers, counsellors, psychologists and other health care providers. To assist with meeting the growing demand for our services, Centacare South West NSW is seeking a Clinical Practice Lead dedicated to quality improvement within mental health and well-being services, including supporting a team of Practitioners and Psychologists in delivering quality care and services.

As a key member of the leadership Team, the Clinical Practice Manager is responsible for overseeing the operational, clinical, and strategic delivery of services within a multi-disciplinary team. This role is designed for a professional who excels in leading people, values collaboration, and is committed to delivering high-quality, client-focused care to children & youth people, adults, families, and communities. The Clinical Practice Manager will guide and support staff to ensure services are delivered efficiently and in alignment with community needs. This includes coordinating best practice in-service training, fostering continuous learning opportunities, and supporting staff to operate within an effective and sustainable clinical framework.

In addition to being a compassionate and collaborative team member, we are looking for someone with the following skills:

  • Tertiary qualifications in Social Work, Psychology, Counselling, or a related field
  • Proven leadership experience managing diverse professional team in a clinical, community, or social service setting.
  • Strong understanding of clinical governance, performance frameworks, and trauma-informed practice.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage stakeholder relationships and contribute to strategic goals
  • Excellent communication, organisational, and conflict resolution skills.
  • Commitment to Centacare’s values, including inclusion, dignity, and service excellence.
  • Sensitivity to the needs of people with special needs including Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people, Cultural and Linguistically Diverse clients, and the disabled and disadvantaged.
  • A current NSW driver’s license and access to a vehicle.

Desirable:

  • Recent Clinical Practice Manager experience.
