Our school wellbeing support services
Our School Wellbeing Program is a whole school approach designed to promote positive relationships amongst students, families and schools to enable students to be healthy, happy, engaged and successful.
We work alongside teaching staff, parents and students to assist with the implementation of social and emotional wellbeing programs that enhance wellbeing.
Our School Wellbeing Program is informed by evidence-based practise standards ensuring high-quality impact to all school communities we support.
Centacare can provide a range of services based on the needs of your school community. We work collaboratively with you in identifying any wellbeing gaps by completing a needs analysis of your school community whilst working with your school’s unique strengths.
We specialise in student mental health and wellbeing, offering a wide range of school-based services, including:
- Collaborating with school wellbeing teams to plan and deliver targeted services that boost student resilience.
- Providing expert advice and guidance on supporting student and teacher wellbeing.
- Designing and delivering evidence-based professional development for staff.
- Assisting school leadership teams to implement whole-school wellbeing initiatives.
- Offering internal and external referrals for students facing challenges.
- Providing school counselling for students with learning, emotional, or behavioral difficulties.
- Running parent workshops on mental health and wellbeing topics to support families.
- Helping schools manage crises by delivering critical incident responses when needed.
- Participating in school meetings to share information about Centacare’s programs and services.
