Our

Process

Intake

Prior to meeting with your counsellor, you will chat with our Intake practitioner who will ask you a few questions about your past and current situation and link you in with the right counsellor.

First Appointment

The first appointment is probably the hardest, but this is a space where you get to know your counsellor and they get to know you. It is a space where the counsellor lets you know your rights and also what their responsibilities are. The counsellor will ask you a range of different questions so they can get an understanding of where you are at and where you would like to go.

Ongoing Appointments

This is where you get to work on your identified goals. The counsellor will work alongside you and help you to figure out the nuts and bolts of your issues, big or small. The counsellor will use a range of evidence-based, therapeutic interventions to assist you on your journey and provide a support that is tailored to you and your needs. Depending on what’s happening for you, the counsellor might ask you to complete some post session work in between sessions.

Last Appointment

The last appointment is a space where you can reflect on the personal growth and development that you have achieved over the course of your counselling journey.
