Nurturing Respectful and Mindful Parenting

Parenting can be challenging, but it also provides opportunities for personal growth and deeper connections with your children. The Bringing Up Great Kids (BUGK) program is designed to help parents and carers build respectful, caring, and nurturing relationships with their children while fostering a positive self-identity in young people.

This FREE program meets weekly across 4 weeks and encourages a reflective and mindful parenting approach, offering practical tools to create a more supportive and respectful family environment.

Reviews

Understanding my girl’s emotions and how to comfort and support her. Understanding and interactions with her and understanding where she is coming from.

Being patient and more understanding and that it is okay to take a step back. It’s not about being the “perfect” parent it’s about the “trying” parent. Using different wording instead of trying to figure out what to say/do. Using a different space for rest time instead of a punishment. Just be there for them when they need you. Great course, so many different challenges and really helpful. Plus the ladies are awesome.

I gained a better understanding of the less well known aspects of ADHD in children. It was fabulous to learn about some strategies to use in managing and planning executive functioning difficulties. It was also empowering to recognise some of the strategies we already have in effect at home.
