We’re with you for the journey

Psychosocial Recovery Coaching helps people living with mental health challenges build independence, confidence, and a sense of control. Our coaches work alongside you, and those who matter most to you, to create a plan that supports your recovery goals. We focus on what’s possible, not what’s limiting, every step of the way.

What is Psychosocial Disabilty?

Psychosocial Disability (PSD) refers to the social and functional impacts of a mental health condition that can affect how you connect, plan and participate in everyday life. It can influence your ability to set goals, maintain relationships, study or work, and engage in your community.

Some mental health conditions that can lead to a psychosocial disability include:

  • Schizoid disorders such as schizophrenia and schizoaffective disorder
  • Anxiety disorders such as obsessive-compulsive disorder, post-traumatic stress disorder, agoraphobia and social phobia
  • Mood disorders such as major or dysthymic depression and bipolar disorder

Psychosocial Recovery Coaching recognises that recovery is not a linear journey. It’s about building skills and confidence to manage life on your terms while we walk alongside you with understanding, empathy and expertise.
