About the Role
We are seeking a Positive Behaviour Support Proficient Practitioner to join our motivated and engaged NDIS team. This position is available full-time or part-time across all Centacare locations, including Albury, Griffith, Mulwala and Wagga Wagga. You will play an important role in delivering specialist behaviour support that aligns with our commitment to high-quality, person-centred practice. Applications are open.
Key Responsibilities
- Delivering individualised Positive Behaviour Support interventions in line with NDIS Behaviour Support Practice Standards.
- Conducting functional behaviour assessments and developing evidence-based Behaviour Support Plans.
- Providing training, guidance and coaching to families, carers and support staff to support effective implementation.
- Monitoring progress, reviewing plans, and adjusting strategies to ensure positive and sustainable outcomes.
- Maintaining accurate documentation, reports and NDIS-required records within specified timeframes.
- Collaborating with internal teams and external stakeholders to support holistic, person-centred service delivery.
Essential Requirements
- Relevant undergraduate qualification (Applied Behaviour Analysis, Psychology, Speech Pathology, Occupational Therapy or Social Work).
- Registration with the appropriate professional body.
- Eligibility for NDIS registration to provide Specialist Behaviour Support.
Desirable
- Certification by the Behaviour Analyst Certification Board (BCBA).
- Masters-level qualification in Applied Behaviour Analysis or a related field (or currently undertaking this qualification).
