About the Role
We are seeking Positive Behaviour Support Core Practitioners to join our engaged, supportive NDIS team. Multiple roles are available full-time or part-time across all Centacare South West NSW offices, including Albury, Griffith, Mulwala and Wagga Wagga. Applications are open.
Key Responsibilities
Key responsibilities may include:
- Supporting the delivery of individualised Positive Behaviour Support interventions under guidance from a Proficient or Specialist Practitioner.
- Assisting with functional behaviour assessments and contributing to Behaviour Support Plans.
- Providing practical support, training and coaching to families, carers and support staff.
- Monitoring participant progress and contributing to reviews and updates of plans.
- Maintaining accurate documentation, reports and NDIS-required records.
- Collaborating with colleagues and external stakeholders to ensure high-quality, person-centred outcomes.
Essential Requirements
- Relevant undergraduate qualification (Applied Behaviour Analysis, Psychology, Speech Pathology, Occupational Therapy or Social Work).
- Registration with the appropriate professional body.
- Eligibility for NDIS registration to provide Specialist Behaviour Support.
Desirable
- Certification by the Behaviour Analyst Certification Board (BCBA), or working towards certification.
- Masters-level qualification in Applied Behaviour Analysis or a related field.
