Who is this program for?
This program is aimed at equipping parents and caregivers with the knowledge, tools, and strategies to understand, support, and foster the emotional and psychological healing of children who have experienced trauma. The program will address the internal impacts of trauma and promote resilience, healthy coping mechanisms, and positive parent-child relationships. It looks at the internal impacts of trauma and how to promote resilience and healthy coping mechanisms, and to build positive parent-child relationships.

What will you gain from attending this program
Participants will have a clearer understanding of what trauma is and provide education on the short-term and long-term impacts on children’s emotional, behavioural, and cognitive development. You will gain understanding on how trauma affects brain development and disrupts cognitive, social, and emotional functioning. Be provided with strategies for promoting resilience, coping skills, and emotional regulation to support children who have experienced trauma.
