When parenting matters remain unresolved an accredited FDRP can issue a Section 60i Certificate. This is required (unless an exception applies)Â before filing a Family Court application.
Who is it for?
Family Dispute Resolution is for separated or separating parents, grandparents, and carers seeking to resolve parenting or property arrangements outside of the court system. Families are usually expected to attempt mediation before lodging a court application.
If necessary, a Section 60i Certificate can be provided by our authorised practitioners. This document is required before filing a Family Court application.
