Centacare South West NSW Foundation Scholarship
The Centacare South West NSW Foundation Scholarship aims to address the pressing need for professional mental health and wellbeing support in regional areas by funding 6 scholarships valued at $5,000 each across 2 years at Charles Sturt University.
The scholarships were provided to empower our communities, children, individuals and families to create change for the better by creating thriving, resilient and connected communities.
These scholarships are open to 2nd, 3rd and 4th year Undergraduates and Honours / Post Grad students, who have lived in and/or completed most or all of their studies in the Griffith area, completing one of the following courses based from the Wagga Wagga, Albury-Wodonga, Orange, Dubbo and Bathurst campuses:
- Bachelor of Psychology
- Bachelor of Social Work
- Bachelor of Human Services
- Bachelor of Social Science (Psychology)
- Honours and Masters students in the above courses
These scholarships are valued not only for their financial assistance but also for their role in cultivating a pool of professionals for regional communities and are commended for their multi-faceted approach to addressing critical issues.

Applications for 2024 scholarships are now closed with recipients to be announced March 25th, 2024.
