Navigating the Path to Successful Co-Parenting
This program is designed for parents who have recently gone through a separation or divorce and are seeking guidance and support in navigating the challenges of co-parenting.
It is specifically tailored to address the needs of parents who want to establish a successful co-parenting relationship and create a positive environment for their children post-separation.

Course objectives
- Develop Effective Co-Parenting Strategies: Participants will learn practical techniques and strategies to foster open communication, manage conflicts, and develop a cooperative co-parenting relationship with their ex-partner.
- Support Children’s Emotional Well-being: The program will provide guidance on how to create a positive and nurturing environment for children, addressing their emotional needs during and after the separation process.
- Establish Consistency and Stability: Participants will gain insights into establishing consistent routines, structure, and boundaries that provide stability and security for children in both households, promoting their overall well-being.
- Enhance Communication and Conflict Resolution Skills: The program will focus on improving communication skills with the ex-partner, including active listening, assertiveness, and problem-solving, to effectively navigate conflicts and make joint decisions in the best interest of the children.
- Foster Resilience in Children: Participants will learn techniques and strategies to nurture resilience in their children, helping them adapt to the changes brought about by separation and thrive in their new family dynamics.
- Provide Co-Parenting Resources: The course will offer a variety of helpful resources, including co-parenting plans, tools for managing schedules, and guidelines for successful co-parenting communication.
Keeping Kids in Mind is facilitated by qualified educators. Participants must register, and participate in a short (15 minute) telephone interview prior to the commencement of the program.
